Our beautiful acreage retreat is situated a 5 min drive from Agnes Water.

 

This tucked away pet friendly, bush paradise, is an ideal retreat for a singles or couple's getaway.

 

The Paperbark Retreat is located on 7 acres of natural bush, and tucked away for 100% privacy and plenty of space for you to take a walk or simply relax on the large deck overlooking the outdoor fireplace and sunset skies.

 

The retreat features a fully equipped 1 bedroom house, with a large living space which opens up to a generous wrap around deck. There is even an outdoor (hot!!) bath on the deck to soak in under the stars with your loved one.

 

This house was awarded the HIA Wide Bay 'House of the Year' in 2012.

 

For peace of mind, the Paperbark Couples Retreat is fully dog fenced around the perimeter of the property. Please note; The Retreat may not be suitable for little dogs that are notorious for wanting to escape as it is possible for them to squeeze under the gate at the entry of the property. However, pets are welcome inside – just not on the furniture.

 

The Retreat is fully self-contained, with linen, towels & beach towels including essential supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing liquid, clothes powder, olive oil, salt & pepper.
